What is your career or vocation?

As a community leader in several major cities in the US, I have seen what can happen when young people feel like they don't have a shot at life. I want to do my part to help! Young people need to know we care and that can change everything! Let’s Get Wit It

How has your education impacted your career and your life?

Most people never read, as a matter of fact the majority of the population never reads a book after they graduate!

From where you are now, what do you believe about the role of education, especially college?

Education is most important. I believe poverty is associated with ignorance!

What advice do you have for the students of Generation TX?

Time will not wail! There are 1440 minutes in everyday.. Spend it wisely!!!!

Why do you believe in Generation TX?

I believe in young people and the potential they possess!

What are your goals as a GenTX supporter?

Communicating to young people since 1995, Roscoe Robinson is dedicated to this generation. Born in Houston, Tx and growing up in the inner city with no father, escaping the negative environments took serious focus and constant self motivation. Roscoe lost many friends to jail and death as drugs swept through his schools and neighborhoods. Determined to win he left Texas alone and moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma where he began pursuing his career as a youth pastor. After reaching out to the low income areas of Tulsa, Roscoe became a major impact in motivating 500 inner city students every week. Moving on to St.Louis, Mo and then Atlanta, Ga he played a key role in many major events and projects that helped teenagers become better. After many years of teaching, counseling and challenging students, Roscoe decided to establish the non profit organization WIT PROJECT. WIT (Walking In Truth) PROJECT. It is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that provides powerful steps to help motivate students in their daily lives. The WIT PROJECT also, serves as a vehicle to help schools with special needs and resources. The vision of the WIT PROJECT is to empower High School and Middle School students with the truth of who they are what they can become.  The WIT PROJECT is more than just a one day program. It is a lifestyle that causes students to make better choices on a daily basis. It's a constant movement to do better at everything they do by helping them avoid bad choices that negatively affect their lives.
